Theatre: The Art of Living Stories
Theatre is more than performance—it is a reflection of life itself. It allows us to hold a mirror to society, question norms, express emotions, and celebrate the richness of human experience. Unlike other art forms, theatre lives in the moment, where performers and audiences share the same space, breathing the same story together. At The Narrators Performing Arts Society, we create theatre productions because we believe in the power of storytelling to connect, heal, and transform. Every production is an opportunity to:
1. Give voice to untold stories and unheard perspectives.
2. Build community by fostering empathy and understanding.
3. Empower artists with confidence, creativity, and expression.
4. Inspire audiences to reflect, feel, and imagine new possibilities.
For us, theatre is not just about the stage—it is about shaping lives, nurturing talent, and keeping the timeless tradition of storytelling alive in today’s world.

Circus
Staged on 6th November 2025
Circus,’ a Musical,” draws its theme from veteran director Imtiaz Ali’s revered film TAMASHA. The circus serves as a metaphor for life, with its fade-ins and fade-outs, highs and lows, much like a trapeze artist’s precarious journey.
In this production, actors embody the stories and characters from the protagonist’s mind, bringing them to life as they converse, laugh, and grieve alongside him. The jokers represent the voices in his head, while the storytellers serve as the voice of reason. The heart, soul, and female lead symbolize the strength of his dreams.
The director’s team focused on creating metaphysical imagery to convey the silent emotions that often go unaddressed in daily life.
Mrs Nisha Luthra ‘s vision finds her stage in an alternate space, to explore the protagonist’s innermost thoughts and struggles.
